A blog is an online journal where you can write and share your views, ideas, and whatever you want. You can start a blog just by signing up to a blogging website of your choice.

I have written this post to encourage individuals to take up blogging, and start making money online. We all want to start earning a regular income, and one of the best ways to do that is with blogging, because if you are a good writer or have good writing skills, then people shall follow you and you can start to earn money.

There are various platforms for blog, but now I am telling you about blogger blog. This post walks you through how to get your blog using Blogger.

Choosing a Templates

First and one of the most important things is to choose a good looking, easy to navigate and SEO friendly template for your blog. I personally prefer to choose a template which has the above tactics and which is a not a blogger template means a customized template that is not so common.

Customize Your Blog

Everybody wants their blog to stand out from the crowd and it is possible when you customize your blog by adding some gadgets so that it looks different from the others using the same template. It is very easy to add gadgets in the blogger blog, you just go to the “Layout” tab and click on “Add a Gadget” or you can add third party gadgets by adding it through “HTML / Java Script” gadget.

Focus on Content

Writing content is not sufficient, write content that will drive traffic. Means pick those topics for writing which are trending or which are most searched. I used to keep eyes on social networking sites and others media to know about the trend. It will help you to generate more traffic comparatively.

Promoting Your Blog & Social Media

There are blog directories that list blogs. You should first register your blog on these directories and then time to register all your social media accounts. It doesn’t matter that you are using Twitter or not, it doesn’t matter you are using Facebook or not just go and register for it anyway. I suggest you to register at least on Facebook Page, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, and then anything depending upon your page type or content.
